The Ugly Bug Band returns to our beloved Tranzac Club, but this time we have something extra. The leader of the Bugs, Dr. Michael Kaler, is launching his latest book, entitled:

Flora Tells A Story: The Apocalypse of Paul and Its Contexts.

The book launch is at 7:00 in the Tiki Room. There’ll be discussion of the book and of gnosticism and early Christian literature and whatever else people feel like discussing.

Then the Bugs hit the stage in the lounge at 10:00!

However you look at it (intriguing academic book launch with incredibly fun band OR fun band with incredibly interesting academic angle), this is a one-of-a-kind evening you’ll not want to miss!
